What happens when you drop 7 stud models in a mansion in Atlanta, Ga. to film a movement?
“Stud Model Project” the Series, the first show of its kind, comes to network television. The new series streams May 16th on the digital platform SVTV Network (Strong Voices Television), and it’s a big deal!
Stud Model Project the series is more than fashion and sexy stud models. The series brings competition, self-reflection, advocacy, table talk, and camaraderie.
The first show of its kind, stud model project the series disrupts the labels and gender norms within the LGBTQ community. From its diverse cast members including deaf contestant Dre Hollingsworth out of Los Angeles, and its advocacy and product features including pairing up with Atlanta non-profit Lost & Found, and featuring the infamous tittie tape, diversity is truly one of the best aspects of the show.
In addition, stud model project the series brings its first non-binary contestant Morgan, with preferred pronouns of them, they, they’re, which the network learned non-binary means not identifying with either masculine or feminine identity.
The mission of the series is to break barriers, and deconstruct the labels placed on the dominants within the LGBTQ community.
There’s more to this series than just a handsome face.
Stud Model Project’s creator Teresa Morocho, came up with the concept of stud model project years ago when looking for sexy, yet fashionable images of African American studs online for club promotion. Not finding the online images and representation she was seeking, Morocho started her book “Stud Model Project”, now on Volume 3, which highlights an array of diverse, dominant, androgynous, and no label models.
However, hidden under the advocacy and mission, the show is a competition! The 7 models are given rigorous tests, and have to pull it together for a professional photo shoot afterwards.
The overall winner of the show earns a spot on the front cover of the newest volume of Stud Model Project the book, brand ambassador, and bragging rights as Stud Model Project the Series (season 1) winner!
